Dating Statistics, the odds for online dating.

 While surfing around on the internet I have found a few interesting statistics related to online dating.
About 1/3 of Americans are single and of that about 42% of American singles have visited a dating site (around 40 million).
With Canada, about 42% of all Canadians have visited a dating site (roughly 15 million).
In terms of men verses' woman, there are roughly 85 single men for every 100 woman. This is close but it favors the men slightly. Most likely this is the case because there are more woman in the world and woman generally live longer.
So what does this all mean. It means good news for the online dater. Over 40% of singles use an online dating service. Since younger people are more internet and tech savvy I bet this percentage rate is higher for them! |

Internet dating is definitely becoming more and more popular - good for us single guys :-)
I personally like to use the dating sites listed on this website: http://dating-sites-reviewed.com/ but there are many good ones out there. I really hope that the rate of women looking for single men will stay high, so that I have more chances ;-)
